As of today Werkcon BV will be able to produce and offer their clients wall and ceiling profile products made with our Magnelis® XCarb® recycled and renewably produced steel.
XCarb® recycled and renewably produced steels with Magnelis® coating are created in an electric arc furnace (EAF) using minimum 75% of scrap and 100-percent renewable electricity, resulting in a product with 70-percent less carbon than steel produced using conventional blast furnace technology.
It’s the next step for Werkcon BV towards a fully sustainable and energy-neutral product offer.
