Indaten® is a structural steel with excellent resistance to atmospheric corrosion, thanks to the development of a protective and adhesive patina evolving with time and environment.
ArcelorMittal produces Indaten® weathering steel at our mills across Europe: France, Spain, Poland and Romania. In Spain, ArcelorMittal Sagunto mill is dedicated to producing weathering steel in lower thicknesses as from 0.4 mm.
Indaten® grades meet all requirements of EN 10025-5 2004 and offer tighter chemical composition and better guarantees on mechanical properties. ArcelorMittal has created different grades of Indaten® weathering steel to meet different applications, and supplies the steel in flat formats such as sheets, heavy plates or coils.
