ArcelorMittal at ESEF

This year, ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products and ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions Benelux joined to present their latest product innovations and service offerings at ESEF, from 15 to 18 March in Utrecht.

With its attractive design under the slogan “Steel, fabric of life”, the stand featured a wealth of resources for the visitors: videos, panels, product samples as well as Steel Envelope. Consisting of a landmark book and a dedicated website, Steel Envelope gives architects, designers and engineers a chance to touch and feel ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products' construction products.

As Bart Staelens, Commercial Head Benelux of ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products, points out: “Once again this year we had a lot of requests about Magnelis^®, our leading zinc-aluminium-magnesium coated steel that offers an optimal protection against corrosion in the harshest environments and even on cut edges. For a number of industries such as infrastructure and solar, Magnelis^® represents a lighter, more sustainable and easy-to-process steel solution.”

Among the other products on the spotlight this year, we can mention:

• Estetic^® Bio Air, the first organic coated steel for interior made of a 100% biobased resin, exceeding the most demanding indoor air quality standards
• Granite^® Silky Shine, new pre-painted steel for facade systems with a high-gloss luxurious skin that enhances the visibility and impact value of buildings.
• Amstrong^® Ultra, a new range of high strength steels specially designed for structural parts of transport engines in many industries
• Relia^®, the steel solution for all vehicles which require abrasion and fatigue resistance as well optimized weight

Our presence at ESEF was not only about new products, but also about services.
