Granite® is ArcelorMittal’s brand for prepainted steel for building envelope and other applications requiring a strong protection against corrosion. It is the leading prepainted steel brand in Europe for roofing and cladding profiles, sandwich panels, cassettes and other type of construction applications like doors.
The paint system is applied on galvanised steel. A layer of zinc or optigal® is applied to protect actively steel against corrosion. It makes Granite® the right choice for every type of building, even in the most aggressive environment like the sea front. The choice of Granite® protects your building for a long time. Depending the product and the area, up to 40 years guarantee can be granted.
Granite® is free of hexavalent chromium or heavy metals. It fully complies with REACH European regulation.
