ArcelorMittal at MSV Brno Fair 2015

ArcelorMittal was again present at MSV in Brno, Czech Republic, the yearly leading International Engineering Fair in Central Europe.

The Czech market continues to be strong and very competitive, and the demand pushes towards better performing and more sustainable organic coated steels.

This is probably the reason for the success of Optigal^TM, an innovative substrate for prepainted steel which protects the steel envelope, ensures the preservation of natural resources by using less zinc than pure zinc coatings, and complies with the European REACH** Regulations to produce materials free of hexavalent chromium compounds and other black listed heavy metals.

ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat products presence was the opportunity to present Optigal^TM but also the whole range of hot rolled and cold rolled steels, hot-dip galvanized steels, as well as 3 innovative products:

• Aluzinc^®, a unique combination of aluminium and zinc for an outstanding resistance to corrosion for roofing and cladding applications
• Magnelis^®, an innovative metallic coating that offers protection in the harshest environments
• Amstrong^® high strength steels for reducing structural thickness and weight of truck trailers and tippers, containers, cranes, excavators, agricultural machinery among many other applications

Several hundred of visitors were welcomed on the stand. A success that pushes towards a participation in 2016.
