ArcelorMittal showcases latest steel solutions for shipbuilding at SMM

From 9 to 12 September, ArcelorMittal joined the worldwide shipbuilding community at SMM in Hamburg. This year the fair registered record-breaking numbers, welcoming more than 50,000 visitors from all corners of the globe. With 2,141 exhibitors from 67 countries, there were more exhibitors presenting their latest innovations than at previous events.

ArcelorMittal presented its well known and wide range of steels both for the structure and the interiors, including strong steel grades suitable for demanding environments such as arctic and deep-sea vessels, as well as for special markets such as oil and gas, nuclear or cryogenic.

On the ArcelorMittal stand, visitors had the opportunity to feel and touch samples of steel for interiors such as xcelcolour^®, xceldesign^®, xcellook^®, Aluzinc^® Florelis, Estetic^® Mat, and the new ranges Granite^® Impression and Silky Mat. 

The many visitors of the stand had also the opportunity to discover the tailor-made approach to the specific needs of individual shipyards.
