Mr. Carlo Baur, responsible for International Trade Fairs & Exhibitions from the Ministry of the Economy and Foreign Trade, gave a warm welcome to everyone on the stand.
ArcelorMittal took part at the Luxembourg Government stand, a space shared with other Luxembourg-based companies. Thanks to the successful design of the stand, all sectors were nicely represented, with enough space to meet and sit together with the customers.
ArcelorMittal was represented by both Flat Carbon Europe (FCE) and Long Carbon Europe (LCE).
At the fair, FCE presented its offer for wind energy as well as its Amstrong® and Magnelis® steels.
High strength steel offers a lightweight potential also for industries that classically are not associated with lightweight design. Examples of the applications from agricultural machinery and construction machinery reveal that design of components and related manufacturing technology must be considered in addition to the selection of materials. Newly developed steel grades can provide their benefits also for these industries and support a lightweight design for these constructions.
