The 2014 European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) Fair was held in Barcelona from March 11 to 13 and we were there to demonstrate our portfolio of steels for every part of the wind turbine. But it’s not just about steels. During EWEA, we also took the opportunity to show how we can assist our wind energy customers with our extensive knowledge of material design and industry leading co-engineering services.

At EWEA we could address customers who want to develop and expand their wind energy expertise, such as material suppliers and service centres. We are more than willing to pass on our knowledge.
Besides the global coverage, we can offer customers a full engineering approach, covering concept design, numerical modelling, welding solutions, mechanical testing, fatigue and bending performance evaluation, and qualification of materials. We can also assist manufacturers to upscale their operations from the laboratory to semi-industrial and industrial scale production.
EWEA was judged as a great success by those who participated, and was the ideal venue to present our latest products and technical support offer for the wind energy sector.
