Webinar: meeting the expectation of a 30+ PV project operation lifetime, from the ground up

Thursday 4 February 2021, 16:00 – 17:00 CET.

In partnership with PV Magazine, ArcelorMittal held a webinar on the latest innovations to reduce the initial investment on steel solar structures, increase their durability and reduce the maintenance costs.

Magnelis® steel has an impressive impressive track record of projects in the world in PV & CSP, racking & foundations, fix & trackers systems, representing more than 20 Gigawatts installed.

Alongside the learnings from the decade of field data, the ArcelorMittal team provided during this webinar new insights into accessing and deploying highly durable PV mounting structures including:

  • How the Magnelis® product range has been enlarged to supply a range of different site specificities – both in terms of the steel coating and grade.
  • How the production footprint of Magnelis® steel has been expanded to meet global PV market needs.
  • Insights from testing in aquatic and offshore locations – for the supply of floating PV applications.
  • The results of third-party testing and certification programs of the Magnelis® product range.

The webinar was designed for mounting structures manufacturers (fix, trackers, roof top, offshore…), component & profiles manufacturers, EPC companies, operators, investors & developers and technical control bodies or insurers.
