The initiatives and tools we take and make to promote our flat carbon steels become more numerous every day. But from the moment we succeed in convincing our clients to make publicity for us to their clients, the ball is really set rolling. Because as from then on, new opportunities come up …
A wonderful example of such a co-marketing project is the close collaboration between ArcelorMittal and Jack Muller. Jack Muller BV is an internationally focused Steel Service Centre based in the Netherlands that specialises in organically coated metals. After lots of exchanges with Coen van Gorp (Key Account Manager, ArcelorMittal FCE Benelux B.V.), Patrick Ryckeboer (Client Technical Support) and Carine Bouichou (Business Development Promotion, ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products), Jack Muller (represented by Glenn Muller (production & logistics) and Anita van Stiphout (purchase & sales)) was very happy to join ArcelorMittal in its promotion of the organic coated product Granite® HFX Cool.

This flexible High Formability eXtended 55-micron paint system which allows processing at low temperatures down to -10°C is being used for all kinds of roofing, cladding, rainwater systems & accessories, but is really tailor-made for standing seam technologies. Known for its architectural quality (thanks to the regular pattern of thin lines created by the standing seam technique), it allows sophisticated shapes to cover curved, convex or concave surfaces and is very easy to install. Environmentally friendly & cost-effective in comparison with traditional zinc or copper material, Granite® HFX Cool is a long-lasting investment.
With its 19 sales agencies for metal roofing and its production site of gutters, drainpipes and accessories in France, SMT (Savoie-Métal Toiture) is a key actor in the building business. Jack Muller, pushing the sales of Granite® HFX Cool for standing seam technologies on the French market, also acts as a stockist for SMT by keeping a complete colour palette in small slit coils at this end user’s disposal. Thanks to Jack Muller’s commitment Savoie-Métal Toiture (who relied on another supplier in the past) totally switched to ArcelorMittal steel.
To support Jack Muller and SMT in the promotion of Granite® HFX Cool to their current and potential clients, guarantee certificates, sample cardboards and roll-ups were developed. Glenn Muller and Anita van Stiphout: “On behalf of the whole ‘Jack Muller crew’ we would like to thank ArcelorMittal for this very nice material that is highly appreciated.”
